The Launching of BALFD Lead Foundation: A New Dawn of Impact and Hope

On the 12th of June 2024, the atmosphere at No. 6, Yoruba Mosque, Unguwan Sarki, Orozo, in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, was filled with purpose and excitement as the BALFD Lead Foundation was officially launched. The event marked a significant milestone in the journey toward community upliftment and humanitarian service, driven by a vision to support the vulnerable and underserved across Nigeria.

The ceremony was well-attended by community leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the beginning of what promises to be a life-changing mission. From the opening prayer to the keynote address, the launch reflected the Foundation’s core values of compassion, accountability, and transformation.

In his welcome speech, the Chairman of the Foundation — a seasoned administrator with over three decades of public and private sector experience — shared the inspiration behind BALFD Lead Foundation. He emphasized the urgent need to support communities through sustainable programs such as education scholarships, elderly care, health outreach, and economic empowerment initiatives. “This Foundation was born out of a deep passion to touch lives and fill the gaps where help is most needed,” he said.

The event featured the unveiling of the Foundation’s logo, a symbol of hope and leadership, and a presentation of its flagship projects, including the scholarship fund for indigent students and the elderly support program. The audience responded with enthusiasm and pledges of support, demonstrating strong community buy-in.

Special guests, Bro. Richard Iyoha and his Late wife, Late Mrs. Edith Richard at the launch praised the initiative as timely and impactful, encouraging the Foundation to stay committed to its goals. Word of prophesy and prayers was offered as the Lord laid in thier heart. The program concluded with a prayer for the success of BALFD Lead Foundation and a call to action for all to partner in the noble mission of building a better, more inclusive society.

The successful launch of the BALFD Lead Foundation not only set the tone for its operational journey but also inspired confidence that meaningful change is indeed possible—one project, one life at a time.
